Together, our collective membership has a powerful voice in raising the profile of International Studies, developing standards and advancing the discipline.
Our members matter to us, and we continue to look at adding value to Association membership through additional member benefits such as:
  • Free online access of Review of International Studies(RIS) journal published in association with Cambridge University Press.
  • Free online access to European Journal of International Security (EJIS) journal published in association with Cambridge University Press - once available in 2016.

Funding Opportunities
  • Apply for up to £4000 in annual working group funding - to bring people together to discuss key questions in your sub field
  • Access events and workshop funding made available through the Post Graduate Network (PGN) up to £5000 awarded annually to the PGN
  • Apply for Postgraduate conference bursaries - taking the form of a free conference place at our annual conferences and a contribution towards travel and/or accommodation costs
  • Apply for grants from the Founders fund - for PhDs in their final write up phase
  • Apply for small research grants of up to £3000 - new for 2015
  • Apply for a research workshop at the annual conference - funding available for travel support - introduced in 2015
